Singapore GP reports brisk ticket sales for fifth night race

Singapore GP has announced that over 50% of tickets to the world's only Formula One night race have been sold to date.
With slightly over 100 days to the fifth SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, the organisers have announced over 50% of the general tickets to the only night race in the world has been sold. The race will be held from the 21st to the 23rd September, and already the three day Zone 4 walkabout tickets, Turn 1 grandstand as well as the Turn 1 combination - the Padang, Bay and Turn 1 grandstands over the race weekend are now sold out. The bay combination – comprising Turn 1, Padang, and Bay grandstands ticket category is also running low.

The lavish 10,000-capacity hospitality suites with layout improvements, updated decor and menus are always a highlight of the race, besides the race themselves. Sales for the Formula One Paddock Club, Green Room, dedicated Sky Suites and the Club Suites opposite the team garages are also in strong demand.

“Ticket sales have been brisk, thanks largely to a fantastic Formula One season. With six different winners from the six races to date, it is anybody’s game which will surely make for an exciting spectacle on our circuit comes September,” said Michael Roche, Executive Director of race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd.

He also added, “Fans have also been quick to snap up the three-day Zone 4 Walkabout tickets which are truly value-for-money, as they get to enjoy the race action and world-class performances from internationally-renowned artistes such as Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Jay Chou, with just the one ticket.”

Singer-songwriter Noel Gallagher formerly from English rock band Oasis was announced as the latest addition to the thrilling line-up.
